2026 Surplus Dockage Bids - Members Only
Members Bidding: January 14, 2026 to 11:59pm February 16, 2026

Petpeswick Yacht Club has two dock floats which are surplus to the club’s needs. This equipment will be offered to PYC members to submit bids for a period of one month from the opening of the bidding period. Any equipment which is unsold at the end of the members-only period will be offered to the general public.

You should send your bid via email to secretary@petpeswickyachtclub.ca, clearly indicating the amount you are bidding and the number(s) of the dock(s) you are bidding on. And be sure and send an e-transfer for the minimum bid amount to petpeswickyc@gmail.com. No bid will be considered valid until the minimum bid deposit has been received.

Equipment Description

Dock #1 - Size 24’ 6” x 6’, rectangular, deck sits approximately 6” above the water. Frame and decking in OK shape, styrofoam flotation in poor shape (Minimum bid $150)

Dock #2 - Size 30’ 6” x 6’, rectangular,  deck sits approximately 19” above the water. Frame, decking and plastic flotation cells in OK shape. (Minimum bid $250)

Notes re: Equipment

  1. Dimensions are approximate. Bidders should make their own measurements before bidding.
  2. One dock is Low-profile with styrofoam flotation and one is High-profile with plastic floatation cells
  3. All equipment is used and is sold as-is, where-is, with the winning bidder responsible for removal.

Financial Terms

  1. Cheque or e-transfer (petpeswickyc@gmail.com) deposit for minimum bid value must accompany each bid.
  2. Deposit amounts will be refunded to unsuccessful bidders.
  3. Deposits from successful bidders will be applied against the successful bid value.
  4. Full payment of successful bids must be made prior to removal of equipment from PYC.
  5. Successful bidders who fail to remove their equipment by May 31/26 WILL LOSE THEIR DEPOSITS, and that equipment will be re-offered for bidding or offered to the next highest bidder, at PYC management’s final discretion.
  6. If there are multiple tied successful bids for a piece of equipment, those bidders will be offered an opportunity to raise their bids. If bids remain tied after this step, the winner will be determined by a chance-based process (e.g. coin toss) at PYC Management’s final discretion.
  7. Bids phrased as “I’ll bid $xxx for any one of Docks #1 or 2” (for example) will be accepted.
  8. All sales are final.
