Coach Boat Fundraiser

The Petpeswick Yacht Club Learn to Sail Program is raising funds to purchase a modern 15.5 ft RIB safety and coach boat that will directly strengthen on‑water safety and expand opportunities for sailors across the Eastern Shore.

Our community program serves participants ages 6 to 65, offering nationally recognized Sail Canada training from beginner Wet Feet classes to advanced CANSail levels and our new Adult Learn to Race program. A new coach boat will allow our instructors to safely operate beyond Petpeswick Inlet, support travel to provincial regattas, transport sailors and equipment, and provide improved supervision with two coaches onboard.

This investment ensures safe, accessible, and affordable sailing education for all—helping our program grow while keeping costs comparable to HRM summer camps and membership open to the entire community.
